This is an application to rehome one of our rescues - not a contract. Our rehoming process begins with this application, and if accepted, proceeds with a one-year lease agreement, followed at the end of that term by a formal adoption agreement, provided all parties wish to move forward.

Our standard lease fee is $2,000 and is followed by an adoption fee of $2,000. These fees may vary and may be payable over time. 100% of fees go directly back into the rescue's operations and programming. Please know that adoption fees never cover the real cost of rescuing, which is why we rely on donors, sponsors and grants to sustain us. What we pay for each horse in bail, quarantine, transport, medical, farrier, dental, feed and board while rehabilitating them typically ranges from $5,000 to $8,000 and can go higher. Lastly, we know that these questions can sometimes feel intrusive. We ask them in order to make the best possible match between horses and adopters. If we do not approve your application for this particular horse/pony/donkey/mule we will keep your application on file for future matches. Thank you!
